Penalties

All jailings will require you to respond in #jailed-room before the timer can begin.

Offence Tiers

Code A offences

Code A offences will increase your offence count by one.

1. Disrespect.

• Emoji reactions can fall under this.
• Constructive criticism is not considered disrespect.

1. Swearing at someone or excessive use of heavy swears.
2. Going off topic in any topic based channel, or disrupting #general.

• Includes memes irrelevant to the channel’s topic.

1. Advertising anything outside of #ads.
2. Spoiling events that are currently the focus of a spoiler channel outside of that channel.  Only applies for 24 hours after the event.

• Discord spoiler tags still count as spoiling.

1. Spam, including, but not limited to:

• Excessive use of reactions or emoji.
• Posting long or ASCII art copypasta.
• Reposting/repetitively posting the same videos/images/links.
• Uploading full episodes of BFDI.

1. Intentionally causing drama or importing drama from other servers or websites, especially pertaining to users who are on HTwins Central already.
2. Abusing ping functionality, including pinging crew of jacknjellify for updates. (“Where’s BFDI?”)
3. Role-playing. This is not considered on-topic in any channel.
4. Using languages other than English. This includes codes such as Morse or binary.
5. Fearmongering. (i.e. taking actions to incite fear in a portion or the entirety of the server.)
6. Encouraging rule breaking, or, discouraging another user from reporting a broken rule.
7. Posting any form of fake episode of a popular object show without an explicit warning that it is illegitimate, or at all during the lead up to and time of a release.
8. Misusing PluralKit. This includes using it for memes, roleplay, impersonation, etc. It is an accessibility tool, not a source of laughs.
9. Using External Fonts. Screen readers are unable to read these types of fonts and is thus an accessibility issue.

• Typing styles that are unreadable or incomprehensible also fall under this.

1. Posting AI-generated media in #art-gallery.
2. Not following reasonable instructions by staff.

Code B offences

Code B offences will increase your offence count by two.

1. Being discriminatory, including, but not limited to:

• Misuse of the word triggered.
• Racism, sexism, bullying, etc.
• Using slurs of any kind.

1. Posting inappropriate media. (Includes racist, sexist, bullying, etc.)
2. Impersonation of any user.
3. Promotion and/or distribution of pirated materials that would generally not be considered to be abandonware.
4. Unsolicited advertising via Direct Messages, for each user advertised to.

Code C offences

Code C offences will result in you being instantly banned.

1. Posting gory/pornographic images or making posts of a sexual nature.

• Including fetish art such as inflation art.

1. Incessant harassment of users, on or off-server.
2. Recruiting for raids or for other nefarious purposes.
3. Linking to or uploading malware.
4. Posting, especially without consent, someone else’s personal information.
5. Stating, jokingly or otherwise, that your age is less than 13 years.

Notes

If you want the staff’s attention please ping one of them directly. You may also DM us about questions or concerns.

In almost all cases, the spirit of a given rule is followed rather than the rule as it is strictly written.

If you are given a warning, but upon closer inspection a stronger penalty is appropriate, then that penalty will be applied.

By using HTwins Central, you agree that your messages and user profile may be logged or processed by bots on the server. Any media content you post is also subject to being re-hosted on an external host for moderation needs.
